Truro Access Centre to Mark Grand Opening today

Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations (Oct. 2000 - March 2014)

Colchester County-area residents have had better access to Registry of Motor Vehicle and information services since May, and today, Nov. 20, they can celebrate the one-stop location with the grand opening of Truro's Access Nova Scotia Centre.

"The new office provides the people of Colchester County and surrounding area with improved access to important government services and programs," said Jamie Muir, Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations.

The office is located at 80 Walker St., suite 3. It provides a range of government services including licensing, registration, drivers' examinations, debtor assistance, and residential tenancies.

"The official opening recognizes our commitment to better serving the people of the Truro area in a spacious, customer-friendly location," said Wendy Gillis, regional manager for Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations. "It's a big improvement for staff and customers."

Mr. Muir, will officially open the Access Nova Scotia centre today, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m.
