An inmate was released in error today, Dec. 13 from the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Burnside.
Guy Rudolph Beaudoin had been ordered remanded on assault charges. Beaudoin is a 53-year-old white male. He is five-foot-11, 230 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.
Halifax Regional Police were notified and are actively seeking Beaudoin.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Halifax Regional Police at 490-5020.
A full investigation surrounding the circumstances of the release has been initiated.
