Museum Providing Programs on In-service Days

Tourism, Culture and Heritage (Dec. 2003 - Jan. 2011)

The Museum of Natural History will provide special programs about the Arctic for school children during teachers in-service days on Tuesday, April 29 and Wednesday, April 30.

Children can enjoy hands-on activity stations with museum naturalists, and Alaskan Malamute Ava and handler Wendy Corkum. Programs run from 10 a.m. until mid-afternoon.

The museum's exhibits, Arctic Adventure and Sila: Clue into Climate Change, present important messages about global warning through interactive and engaging activities.
