CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 22 (Louisbourg Highway)

Traffic on sections of the Louisbourg Highway (Trunk 22), between Landry Crescent and Albert Bridge will be reduced to one lane to allow for repaving, Monday, May 5 to Thursday, July 31.

Work will take palce from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and traffic will be controlled by signs and traffic control people.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 215

Route 215 from Sherman Lake Road to Hiltz Road will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culvert work, patching and paving from Friday, May 2 until Thursday, July, 31.

Traffic controls consist of traffic control people and signs. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

PICTOU COUNTY: Big Gut Bridge

Route 348 in Pictou Co. will be closed north of Greens Point Road at the Big Gut Bridge to facilitate replacement of the bridge from Tuesday, May 6 to Tuesday, August 5.

Detour routes are available via Egypt Road or Chance Harbour Road.

QUEENS COUNTY: Mill Village Bridge

Mill Village Bridge located at the junction of Medway River Road and Trunk 3 in Mill Village will be closed for deck repairs from Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9.

A detour is available on Mill Village East Road and the Medway River Road.

CONTINUING WORK


ANNAPOLIS COUNTY - Highway 101

Highway 101 from 1.2 kilometres east of Exit 18 to Exit 19, will be reduced to one lane for guard rail installation, patching and repaving until Sunday, August 31.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Burnside Drive

Burnside Drive will have lane closures for widening at various times until Saturday, May 31. Gravelling, signal installation, paving and repaving will take place from Commodore Drive to Exit 3 and from the eastbound ramp from Highway 111 to Burnside Drive for about one kilometre.

Traffic control consists of cones, barriers, signs and traffic control people. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

KINGS COUNTY: Glebe Bridge

Glebe bridge on Route 201 will have a 2.7-metre height restriction and a 15-tonne weight restriction until further notice.

KINGS COUNTY: Hantsport

Kates Bridge on Tannery Road in Hantsport is closed for repairs Friday, May 16.

A detour is available on Avon Street.

KINGS COUNTY: Ira Bill Road

Ira Bill Road in Billtown, Kings Co. is reduced to one lane because of a culvert failure until Sunday, June 1.

Temporary traffic signals are in place.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103 will have alternating lane closures for cold planing, repaving and shouldering until Friday, June 27.

An alternate route is available at Trunk 3 from Exit 6 to Exit 7 from Hubbards to East River.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Route 331

Route 331 in Lunenburg Co., for 4.5 kilometres between LaHave and Dublin Shore will have alternating lane closures for ditching and culvert installation until Friday, May 9.

Traffic control consists of cones, barrels, a flashing light unit and pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: Six Mile Brook

Six Mile Brook Road in Pictou Co. is closed at the Morrison culvert south of Graveyard Road until further notice.

Detour signs show an alternate route.
