Nova Scotia is again the competitive choice for a leading North American provider of web services for small business and domain-name registration.
Register.com, headquartered in New York City, continues to expand its long-standing Canadian operation in Yarmouth and will open a Halifax office. With the expansion in Yarmouth and additional office, the company will create up to 350 new jobs within the next six years.
The province, through Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI), is supporting the growth with a payroll rebate to a maximum of $4,931,552. The Department of Economic Development will also invest a maximum of $1,050,000 for recruitment and training. Both are incremental investments tied to hiring targets.

Register.com's Yarmouth location is among the town's largest employers, with more than 250 full-time jobs.
