Government Surplus Auction Scheduled

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

The Nova Scotia government will hold its final surplus equipment auction of 2008 on Saturday, Nov. 22.

A complete list of items to be auctioned is not yet available, but is expected to include outdoor maintenance equipment (lawn mowers, Honda ride-on tractor with attachments, snow blower), wood-working equipment, a few vehicles, and an assortment of office furniture and equipment. A complete list of items and photos will be posted one or two days before the auction at:
www.gov.ns.ca/tran/govservices/govauction.asp .

The auction will be held at the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal warehouse at 10 Acadia St., Dartmouth at 10 a.m. The items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The auction will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted. Money earned will be used to help pay down the provincial debt.

Department volunteers will provide an on-site barbecue with all profits going to the department's United Way Campaign.
