Traffic Advisory, Slippery Road Conditions

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

Cold air and road surface temperatures, combined with freezing rain are creating slippery road conditions on Nova Scotia's highways.

Plow drivers with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal report that conditions are very slippery, and at times, rain is icing up behind them quickly.

Drivers should stay off the roads if possible or travel with extreme caution. Road conditions updates are available at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/winter/roadconditions.asp .
