Update on Chancelor Faulkner

The Department of Justice released the photo to media today, March 31, of Chancelor Faulkner, 19, to assist in his apprehension.

Mr. Faulkner was mistakenly released March 24 after being found guilty of possession of a prohibited weapon.

A preliminary incident review has found that Mr. Faulkner should have been returned to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility but the corrections form that accompanied him contained a clerical error.

Mr. Faulkner is due in court Thursday, April 23 in Dartmouth to face other charges that include robbery.

Halifax Regional Police have been notified and are seeking Mr. Faulkner. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police.
