ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 west of Exit 22 to Shaw Road Underpass, about 11.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for maintenance and ditching, from Monday, May 4, until Friday, May 8.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Bass River

Wharf Road and Judge Fultan Road will be closed, except to local traffic, for chip seal, pulverization and graveling from Monday, May 4, until Friday, July 31.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 6

Trunk 6, Section 1, through downtown Tatamagouche, and Section 2 from the Cumberland County line to Bayhead, will be reduced to one lane for cold milling and asphalt paving from Monday, May 4, until Thursday, July 31.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle will be on site. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 107

Highway 107, from 318 Overpass to Akerley Blvd., including ramps, about 11 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving from Monday, May 4, until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control people are on site. Work will take place from sunrise to sunset. No work between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. westbound and no work between 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. eastbound.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104

Highway 104 between Exit 29 at Barney's River, Pictou County, to the Antigonish County Line will be reduced to one lane for road improvements from Monday, May 4 to Tuesday, June 30.

Delays are expected. There will be signage, flashing light units and traffic control people on site.

Work will take place from Monday to Thursday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Fridays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

CONTINUING WORK

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4 near Ben Eoin will be reduced to one lane for graveling, grading and paving until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A pilot vehicle will guide drivers through the construction zone.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Lower Maccan Road closure

The Lower Maccan Road is open to local traffic only, because of a culvert washout.

Drivers should travel with extra caution.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge will be used until a permanent bridge is completed.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h at the site and advance warning signs are in place.

Reduced weight restrictions are no longer in effect at this crossing.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102

Highway 102, southbound, will have a one lane closure from Exit 4B to Exit 3, including ramps for about 4.6 kilometres, to replace the jersey barrier, widen, patch and repave the highway until Friday, July 31.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 215

Route 215 from Hiltz Road to William Conley Road, between Pembroke and Walton, will have traffic interruptions for re-paving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control people will be on site. Work takes place from dawn to dusk.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 236

Route 236 from Route 354 in Kennetcook to Bishop Road, for about 6.4 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from dawn to dark.

Doyle's Bridge on the East Margaree Road will be closed until further notice. A detour is available on East Margaree Crossroad.

The Grand Etang Bridge will occasionally be reduced to one lane until Saturday, May 30, to replace the bridge.

A detour is available on a temporary bridge marked with signs and lighting. Traffic control people will be on site.

Murrays Hill Bridge, which crosses the Mabou River near Rankinville Road, is closed until summer because of flooding damage.

KINGS COUNTY: Glebe Bridge

Glebe Bridge on Route 201 will have a 2.7-metre height restriction and a 15-tonne weight restriction until further notice.

Kates Bridge on Tannery Road in Hantsport is closed for repairs until further notice.

A detour is available on Avon Street.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 between Exit 10 and Exit 11 will have one lane closures for repaving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Delays are expected with stop times of up to 30 minutes depending on traffic volumes. There is an alternate route on Trunk 1 at Exit 10 at Grand Pre and Exit 11 at Greenwich.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Hillaton Road

Hillaton Road will be closed for bridge repairs until further notice.

A detour route is available from Route 221 to Route 358 to Saxon Street.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103, east from Exit 10 for about 9.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for cold-planing and paving until Saturday, May 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 3, Gold River Bridge

A one-lane bridge is open on Trunk 3 between Mahone Bay and Chester while the new Gold River Bridge is being built. Work is expected to continue until August. Traffic lights are in place.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 10

Trunk 10, for about 700 metres, will have alternating lane closures for sewer installation until Wednesday, July 15.

Traffic control consist of flashing lights, barrels and traffic cones. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A detour is available on Route 331 and King Street in Bridgewater.

Highway 104 access on Young Road in Pine Tree will be closed until further notice for the Highway 104 twinning project.

The road remains open to local residents but has no exit.
