ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101

Sections of Highway 101 for about 11.5 kilometres west of Exit 22 will be reduced to one lane for guardrail replacement, patching and paving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Antigonish/Guysborough Road

Antigonish/Guysborough Road, off Route 316, will be restricted to local traffic to replace the wooden box culvert until Friday, Oct. 16.

A detour is available on Marydale Beauly Road.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 245

Route 245 will have alternating lane closures for almost eight kilometres west of the Antigonish town line for ditching, culvert installation and repaving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

A detour is available on Old Maryvale Road. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Alexandra Street Roundabout

Construction of the Alexandra Street roundabout, at the intersection of Alexandra Street and Kenwood Drive in Sydney, will continue until the end of October. The traffic lights will be replaced by a three-way stop during construction.

Drivers should expect delays or use an alternate route.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125

Traffic on sections of Highway 125 westbound, between Exit 3 and the Highway 105 interchange, will be reduced to one lane until Tuesday, Sept. 15, for repaving.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Drivers should use extra caution in the area.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Keltic Drive

Keltic Drive from the railway tracks west for five kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle will be on site. A detour is available on Highway 125. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Scotch Lake Road from Route 223 east for 7.5 kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. A detour is available on Route 223. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Trunk 4 near Ben Eoin will be reduced to one lane for gravelling, grading and paving until Sunday, Nov. 15.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A pilot vehicle will guide drivers through the construction zone.

Trunk 4, from Greenhill Drive to about 800 metres past Meadows Road, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, Sept. 18.

Trunk 22, on Louisbourg Highway south of Hornes Road, will be reduced to one lane for about six kilometres for clearing, gravelling and paving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Sections of College Road in Bible Hill will be reduced to one lane from Main Street to Village Line Avenue for repaving until Friday, Oct. 30.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104

Highway 104 from Exit 17 westbound to Exit 15 will be reduced to one lane for widening and paving until Saturday, Oct. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Stewart's Bridge

Stewart's Bridge located between Route 311 and West North River Road will be closed for replacement until Monday, Nov. 30.

A temporary panel bridge will be in place as a detour.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 2

Trunk 2 will be reduced to one lane for paving from the Cumberland County line to Soley Cove Road until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Trunk 2

Sections of Trunk 2 in the Halfway River area, between Lakelands Road and Boars Back Road, will be reduced to one lane until Friday, Oct. 30, for repaving.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Drivers should use extra caution in the area.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 7

Sections of Trunk 7, between Little Liscomb Road and Sherbrooke, will be reduced to one lane until Friday, Oct. 30, for repaving.

Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Motorists should use extra caution in the area.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge will be available until a permanent bridge is completed.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h at the site and advance warning signs are in place.

Reduced weight restrictions are no longer in effect at this crossing.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: South River Lake Road

Sections of South River Lake Road, from 2.9 kilometres west of the North Ogden Road east for 6.4 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for gravelling and repaving until Friday, Sept. 18.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Spanks Bridge

Spanks Bridge on the Larry's River Road at West Cooks Cove will be out of service (except to local traffic) for repairs until Saturday, Oct. 31.

A detour is available on Mountain Road and Trunk 16. Trans-Canada Trail users are advised that the Spanks Bridge is closed and to use caution when travelling in this area.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 101

Highway 101, from Beaver Bank interchange west for about three kilometres, is reduced to one lane in both directions for repaving and guardrail repairs until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102

Work on the Larry Uteck Interchange, between exits 2 and 3 on Highway 102, will require frequent lane closures for blasting during construction.

Blasting times will be indicated by electronic signs. Drivers should use alternate routes when blasting is scheduled.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102

Highway 102 northbound lanes, from the merge point with Highway 118 for about five kilometres, will be reduced to one lane until Saturday, Oct. 31, for paving.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset, except on Fridays when it finishes by 3 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103

Traffic on the westbound lanes of Highway 103 will be reduced to one lane at the Cranberry Bridge east of Exit 4 until Saturday, Oct. 3.

Drivers should reduce speed and use extra caution in the area.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 107

Sections of Highway 107, from the 318 overpass for about 11 kilometres to Akerley Boulevard (including ramps), will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. There will be no work from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. westbound, and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. eastbound.

The westbound lanes of Highway 101, between Exit 7 in the Falmouth area and the Kings County line, will be reduced to one lane until Wednesday, Sept. 30 for repaving.

A pilot vehicle will be on sight. Drivers should expect delays or use Highway 1 between Exit 7 and Exit 8.

Whale Creek bridge on Route 215, about 300 metres west of William Conley Road, will be reduced to one lane until Wednesday, Sept. 30, to replace a cross culvert on the panel bridge.

Work will take place from sunrise to sunset.

Sangsters Bridge, on Sangsters Bridge Road connecting Upper Falmouth and Trunk 14, will be closed for repairs until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Sections of Trunk 14, from the intersection of New Ross Road to the Lunenburg County line, will be reduced to one lane for resurfacing until Thursday, Sept. 17.

Mathews Bridge on Big Marsh Road near River Denys is closed for replacement until Friday, Sept. 18.

A short detour route is marked on Ashfield Branch Road and Southwest Ashfield Road.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Route 252

Traffic on sections of Route 252, east of the intersection of East Skye Glen Cross Road, east for about 5.4 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for repaving.

Work takes place until Saturday, Oct. 31. Traffic will be directed by signs and traffic control persons.

KINGS COUNTY: Kentville-Canning Area

Several roads in the Canning area will be reduced to one lane until Friday, Oct. 30, to allow for repaving. The roads are Route 358, from Belcher Street north to Route 341, Route 221, from Route 358 to Black Hill Road, Baines Road, from Black Hill Road to J. Jordan Road, and Summer Street, from J. Jordan Road to Chapel Street.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Signs and traffic control people are on site. Drivers should expect delays and use extra caution in the area.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Closure

The Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, will be closed until further notice.

A marked detour route is available on New Road, Route 221 and Morden Road.

Traffic on the LaHave Island Bridge on Crescent Beach Road will be delayed during repairs until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The bridge will remain open to traffic, but delays of up to 20 minutes should be expected.
