Traffic is restricted at Exit 24 on Highway 104 in Stellarton.

Exit 24, eastbound traffic has no access toward New Glasgow north of Foord Street. Southbound traffic can access Foord Street.

Traffic westbound at Exit 24 does not have access toward New Glasgow north on Foord Street. Southbound traffic can access Foord Street.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Englishtown Ferry

The Englishtown Ferry is out of service because of a broken cable. The ferry is expected to be back in operation by Monday, Nov. 9.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104

Highway 104, from Tracadie Harbour Bridge, east for about 18 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for cold planing, asphalt-concrete patching and repaving until Wednesday, Nov. 18.

A pilot vehicle will be on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Alexandra Street Roundabout

Construction of the Alexandra Street roundabout, at the intersection of Alexandra Street and Kenwood Drive in Sydney, will continue until Tuesday, Dec. 15. The traffic lights will be replaced by a three-way stop during construction.

Drivers should expect delays or use an alternate route.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Glace Bay Lake Bridge

Glace Bay Lake Bridge, Route 255, will be restricted to local traffic to replace the bridge until Monday, Nov. 30.

A detour is available via Tower, Marconi Tower and Sand Lake roads.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4, near Ben Eoin, will be reduced to one lane for gravelling, grading and paving until Sunday, Nov. 15.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A pilot vehicle will guide drivers through the construction zone.

Sections of College Road in Bible Hill will be reduced to one lane from Main Street to Village Line Avenue for repaving until Monday, Nov. 30.

Highway 104, from Exit 17 west to Exit 15, will be reduced to one lane for widening and paving until Monday, Nov. 16.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Stewarts Bridge

Stewarts Bridge, between Route 311 and West North River Road, will be closed for replacement until Monday, Nov. 30.

A temporary panel bridge will be in place as a detour.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 2

Trunk 2 and Plains Road will be reduced to one lane for gravelling and paving until Sunday, Nov. 15.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 301

Route 301 will be restricted to local traffic between Mount Pleasant Road and Dickson Road to install culverts at Fitzsimmons Brook until Monday, Nov. 30.

Alternate routes and signs will be in place.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 7

Sections of Trunk 7, between Little Liscomb Road and Sherbrooke, will be reduced to one lane until Tuesday, Nov. 10, for repaving.

Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Motorists should use extra caution in the area.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge will be available until a permanent bridge is completed.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h at the site and warning signs are in place.

Reduced weight restrictions are no longer in effect at this crossing.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Fairview Overpass

Fairview Overpass is reduced to three lanes, to rebuild the southern section. Construction is expected to take about six months.

Traffic will flow outbound on the two outer lanes, and inbound on the inner lane.

Drivers should expect delays, or use an alternate route.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Moose River Road - Reid's Bridge

Reid's Bridge on Moose River Road will be closed for replacement until Thursday, Dec. 31.

Detour signs will direct motorists. Work takes place from dawn to dusk.

Route 215, about 500 metres west of William Conley Road, east for about 12.4 kilometres will be reduced to one lane for paving until Monday, Nov. 16.

Sangsters Bridge, on Sangsters Bridge Road connecting Upper Falmouth and Trunk 14, will be closed for repairs until Monday, Nov. 30.

A detour route is available through the Town of Windsor.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Red River Road

Red River Road, from the junction of Trunk 30 for almost 10 kilometres to the end, including the following side roads: Pleasant Bay Harbour Road; Pleasant Bay United Church Road; Hinkley Glen Road; and Angus More Road, will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs and paving until Saturday, Nov. 27.

The Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, will be closed until further notice.
