Surplus Auction Scheduled for Nov. 28

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

Vehicles and variety are the watchwords for the Nova Scotia government surplus auction scheduled for this weekend.

Pickups, SUVs and vans are among the vehicles available at the auction to be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 28.

Also expected are lawn tractors, a snow blower, table saw, power washer, three commercial pipe threaders, beauty salon chairs, office equipment and furniture.

A partial list of items and photos is posted on the department's website at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/hottopics/auction.asp . More items will be added during the coming week.

The auction will be held at the department's warehouse at 10 Acadia St., Dartmouth. The items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The auction will be conducted by Auction Advantage. Payment must be made by cash, debit, or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards will not be accepted. Money earned through the auction is used to help pay down the provincial debt.
