Sydney Open House on Dec. 2

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal's provincial transportation base in Sydney River will hold an open house from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Visitors can see displays and a slideshow as they pick up safety tips and take a tour of the base's mechanical branch, 151 Keltic Dr., Sydney River. They can also learn about the province's salt and plow routes.

Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
