Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

Repaving of the northbound lanes of Highway 102 may cause delays for drivers approaching the Robert L. Stanfield International Airport from Halifax.

Work is taking place from south of Exit 5A (Aerotech Park) to Exit 6 (airport). Access to the airport via Bell Boulevard will be maintained at all times.

To minimize traffic delays the following schedule has been developed:

Thursday, June 24 - two lanes open all day except between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. when one lane may be closed Friday, June 25 - two lanes open all day Saturday, June 26 - one lane open from sunrise until noon. Two lanes open after noon Sunday, June 27 - two lanes open all day Monday, June 28 - one lane open from sunrise until noon. Two lanes open after noon

The contractor will be posting variable message signs before the construction zone advising northbound motorists that they can reach the airport by exiting Highway 102 at Exit 5A and following the signs.
