TRANSPORTATION/INFRASTRUCTURE RENEWAL: Traffic Advisory, Update, Highway 102, Paving Near Airport


Repaving of the northbound lanes of Highway 102 may cause delays for drivers approaching the Robert L. Stanfield International Airport from Halifax.

Work is taking place from south of Exit 5A (Aerotech Park) to Exit 6 (airport). Access to the airport via Bell Boulevard will be maintained at all times.

To minimize traffic delays the following schedule has been developed:

Wednesday, June 30 - No work on Highway 102. Two lanes will be open to traffic all day. There may be work on the Exit 5A on and off ramps from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday, July 1 - No work. Two lanes will be open to traffic.

Friday, July 2 - No paving on Highway 102. Two lanes will be open to traffic. Work may be taking place on Aerotech Drive and on the Exit 5A on and off ramps.

Saturday, July 3 - No work. Two lanes open to traffic.

Sunday, July 4 - No work. Two lanes open to traffic.

The project is scheduled for completion at the end of July.
