Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Exit 5

Exit 5 will be closed for upgrades from Wednesday, Sept. 1, until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Detour route marked. Please use Exit 4 or Exit 5A, as directed.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 311

Route 311, at the intersection of the gravel end of MacCallum's Settlement Road, north for 2.2 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving, shouldering, gravelling and guardrail installation from Wednesday, Sept. 1 until Friday, Sept. 10.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

KINGS COUNTY: Trunk 1

Trunk 1 at the Kentville/New Minas town line will be reduced to one lane to replace a culvert from today, Aug. 31, until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Temporary traffic signals are in place, expect delays. Use alternative route if possible.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Street

Bridge Street, between Kingston and Greenwood, will have periodic lane closures at Kingston Bridge for bridge repairs from today, Aug. 31 until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cornwallis River Bridge in Port Williams will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.
