St. Colombo Bridge on Millstream Road will be closed for repairs on Monday, Nov. 1 and Tuesday Nov. 2.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Granville Road

Granville Road in Port Wade will be reduced to one lane for repaving and shouldering until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Parker Mountain Road, from 1.1 kilometres north of Trunk 1, will be reduced to one lane for paving and shouldering until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Route 201 from Old Mill Road in South Farmington, east for about 500 metres, will be reduced to one lane for paving and shoulder repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Traffic on Route 362, from Mosher Hill north for about one kilometre, will be reduced to one lane for paving and shoulder repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Spa Springs Road, from Route 362 to the bridge 500 metres west of the Route 221 intersection, will be reduced to one lane for paving and shoulder repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Trunk 8 from about one kilometre south of Virgina Road in South Milford will be reduced to one lane for paving and shouldering until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Trunk 10 at North Ridge Road, about five kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culvert replacement, patching and paving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Highway 104, between Exit 31A and Exit 31, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Monday, Nov. 15.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104

Highway 104, Exit 37 at Monastery, will have temporary traffic signals in place for the restoration of the Tracadie overpass, Tracadie railway pass and the Tracadie Bridge. The structures are within 100 metres of each other.

Temporary traffic signals are in place. Alternate route on Trunk 4.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337, Canal Bridge

During construction of a new Canal Bridge on Main Street in Antigonish, traffic on Route 337 is being rerouted to a temporary detour bridge.

The temporary bridge will be in place until Friday, Dec. 31.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Gardiner Road

Gardiner Road, for about four kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for ditching, pipe work and paving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125

Highway 125, for about 5.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for construction until Sunday, Oct. 31.

There is a detour on Keltic Drive. Traffic control people and a vehicle are on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125, Exit 5

Exit 5 on Highway 125 will be closed for upgrades until Sunday, Oct. 31.

A detour route is marked and drivers should use Exit 4 or Exit 5A, as directed.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Keltic Drive

Keltic Drive, from the tracks east for 20 kilometres to Sydney River Bridge, will be reduced to one lane for milling, upgrading and repaving until Monday, Nov. 15.

Traffic control personnel and a vehicle will be on site. Detour route: Highway 125 to Exit 5 and 6. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

Mira Gut Bridge on Mira Bay Drive will be closed to traffic for replacement of the deck until Friday, Nov. 12.

Detour route on Hornes Road, Brickyard Road and Trunk 22 (Louisbourg Hwy).

Route 255 from Homeville-Round Island Line towards Mira Gut Bridge for about seven kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving and bridge repairs until Friday, Nov. 19.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4, from 1.3 kilometres east of Cape Breton-Richmond County line, will be reduced to one lane for about five kilometres for paving and bridge repairs until Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Traffic control is on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Mines Bass River Road

Mines Bass River Road will be closed for bridge repairs until Friday, Jan. 31.

Detour route on East and West Montrose Road.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Fox Harbour Bridge

The Fox Harbour Bridge on Ferry Road, near Wallace, is closed to traffic.

A temporary, one-lane detour bridge will be opened for drivers in the area during repairs to the regular bridge.

Occasional stop and go traffic.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Highway 104 Eastbound Lanes

Highway 104, east of the New Brunswick border, will be reduced to one lane eastbound for one kilometre for road work until Friday, Nov. 12.

Speed limits are reduced. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Northport Bridge

Northport Bridge on Route 366 is closed until Monday, Jan, 31, 2011, for replacement.

Detour from Shinimicas Road to the east of the bridge and Mudcreek Road to the west of the bridge. Cyclists should travel with caution.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 242

Route 242, from Lower Maccan Road to 500 metres west of Pit Road, will be reduced to one lane for paving from until Monday, Nov. 15.

Traffic control will be on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

DIGBY COUNTY: Acacia Valley Road

Acacia Valley Road, from 1.5 kilometres west of Exit 26 to Ridge Road, will be reduced to one lane for paving and shouldering until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control will be on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

DIGBY COUNTY: Meteghan River Bridge

Meteghan River Bridge in Digby County will be closed until Wednesday, Dec. 15, to construct a permanent bridge.

Detours are available on D'Entremont Road, 2nd Division Road and Placide Comeau Road.

DIGBY COUNTY: Robinson Weir Road

Robinson Weir Road, from 300 metres north of Route 303, will be reduced to one land for paving and shouldering until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control will be on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

DIGBY COUNTY: Route 303

Route 303 from Exit 26 north to Digby town line will be reduced to one lane for widening, upgrading, patching and paving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h and warning signs are in place.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16

Trunk 16, from 3.8 kilometres west of Fox Island Road east to the Canso town line, will have alternating one lane closures for cold planing, pulverization, gravelling and repaving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control personnel and pilot vehicle will be on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset and for some time over the weekend.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Hubbards Bridge

Hubbards Bridge located on Trunk 3 will be closed to traffic for replacement of the bridge until Friday, Dec. 31.

A detour is available on Shankle Road.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 212

Route 212, from two kilometres east of Oldham Road to Antrim Road for 8.3 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control personnel will be on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 213, Hammonds Plains

Traffic on Route 213 in Hammonds Plains near Trunk 3 on St. Margarets Bay Road can expect delays until Sunday, Oct. 31 as crews replace culverts under the railway bridge.

One lane will be closed at all times but two-way traffic will be maintained most of the work day.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102

Traffic on Highway 102 is reduced to one lane in each direction at Exit 9 (Milford) to construct a new interchange.

Delays are possible. Drivers should exercise caution and watch for signs and traffic control people in the construction zone.

Work takes place from dusk until dark until the end of the year.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 224 - Milford

Route 224 in Milford will be closed to repair a culvert until Friday, Dec. 3.

Sections of Trunk 2, from Shubenacadie River north to the intersection of Route 214 at Elmsdale, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Trunk 14/Exit 9

A new roundabout will be open at Exit 9 of Highway 102, near Truro, at the intersection with Trunk 14.

Temporary signs are in place. The opening will allow the remainder of the construction work to be completed by Monday, Feb. 15.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Cheticamp River Bridge

Cheticamp River Bridge on the Cabot Trail will be reduced to one lane for bridge replacement until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Murrays Hill Bridge, which crosses the Mabou River near Rankinville Road, is closed until further notice.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Closure

Traffic on the Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic lights are in place.

Bridge Street between Kingston and Greenwood will have periodic lane closures for cold planing and repaving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Route 360

Route 360 at Highway 101 Overpass, Berwick-Exit 15, will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs and resurfacing until Sunday Oct. 31.

Traffic signals are in place. Expect minimal delays. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: 358 Bridge by Port Williams

Cornwallis River Bridge in Port Williams will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Traffic lights are in place.

KINGS COUNTY: Hantsport

Kates Bridge, on Tannery Road in Hantsport, is closed for repairs until further notice.

A detour is available on Avon Street.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101, Delays Expected

Traffic on Highway 101 is reduced to one lane west of Exit 14 at Coldbrook for bridge repairs until further notice.

Delays are expected and alternate routes should be taken. Motorists exercise caution and watch for signs and traffic control people in the construction area.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104

Two temporary intersections are now in use on Highway 104, Trans-Canada Highway, near Sutherland's River.

One is located about 70 metres west of the existing Exit 27A intersection. All access to Trunk 4 will use this temporary intersection.

The other intersection is on School Road in front of East Pictou Middle School. All access to School Road, including F.H. MacDonald Elementary School and East Pictou Middle School, will be from this temporary intersection.

They are needed to complete work on the Highway 104 twinning project and will be used until the summer of 2011.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104

Traffic on Highway 104 near Exit 27 in Sutherlands River, is being diverted to a newly built 450-metre detour around the construction zone.

A speed limit of 70 km/h remains in place through the construction zone. The detour is expected to be in place until October.

Route 376, from Pictou Rotary for about five kilometres to Route 256, will be reduced to one lane for pipe work until Sunday, Oct. 31.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Route 206

Route 206, from the intersection of Route 320 in Martinique south to Creighton Road will be reduced to one lane for ditching, cleaning culverts and paving until Friday, Nov. 12.

Traffic control is on site. An alternate route is available on Route 320. Work takes place from dawn to dusk.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Cabot Trail Construction

Sections of the Cabot Trail (Trunk 30) will be reduced to one lane from south of Lewis Mountain Road north for about 6.5 kilometres for repaving.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle will be on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset and is scheduled to be finished by the end of October.

Traffic on Corsen Bridge on the Cabot Trail, two kilometres south of Ingonish, is reduced to one lane until further notice.

Highway 103, from the Belleville Road intersection to Exit 32 in Argyle, will be reduced to on lane for milling, repaving and shoulder work until Monday, Nov. 15.
