Traffic Advisories, Colchester, Cumberland, Lunenburg and Queens Counties

The following roads are closed because of flooding or storm damage:

Colchester County:

• Brenton Cross Road, between Route 289 and Cloverdale Road, is open to local traffic only

Cumberland County:

• Malagash Road, detour on Malagash Station Road

Lunenburg County:

• Veinot Road, between Trunk 10 and Lower Brand Road
• Haines Road, Barss Corner
• Lower Branch Road, from Osbourne Road to Trunk 10
• Chester Grant Road, closed at bridge

Queens County:

• Mill Village East Road, between Hillsview Drive and Medway River Road
• Medway River Road, between Charleston and Bangs Falls
• Chapel Hill Drive, closed at bridge one kilometre north of Route 210
• Rosette Road, between Harlow and Moose Pit
• Old Westfield Road, intermittently closed between Trunk 8 in Harmony to Westfield at MacGowan Lake
• Old Westfield Road, between Route 208 and Westfield Road
• Westfield Road, between Westfield and Caledonia
• River Road, between Milton and the Old Garden Road

The following roads have re-opened:

Queens County:

• Corkum Road
• Trunk 8, both lanes now open to traffic

Motorists should continue to use caution. Drivers should slow down and watch for areas that are passable, but may have significant water on them.
