The Department of Justice is notifying the public that Vernon Martell turned himself into the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth today, Nov. 10.
Mr. Martell, 41, was being held at the facility after being sentenced for theft under $5,000 and was mistakenly released from custody on Nov. 5.
The mistake was discovered late Monday afternoon.
