Newly Renovated Sydney Access Nova Scotia Centre Officially Opens

Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations (Oct. 2000 - March 2014)

The newly renovated Sydney Access Nova Scotia Centre officially opened today, Oct. 3.

The centre now offers land registration services.

"I am confident that we will meet the needs of our customers by offering Access Centre and land registration services under one roof," said Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations Minister John MacDonell. "By continuing to provide quality and convenient service to our clients in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, and to clients in all Access Nova Scotia Centres, we are making life better for families across the province."

Combining the Access Centre and land the registration office makes the facility the largest fully co-located centre in the province.

Since late June, the centre has been offering information and services to people and businesses, including driver licensing, motor vehicle registration, business licensing and registration, debtor assistance, consumer protection, residential tenancies and land registration.
