Residents in Pictou County will have better access to government services thanks to the new Stellarton Access Nova Scotia Centre.

"The new Access Centre will make life better for families in Pictou County by offering government services at one convenient and central location," said Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations Minister John MacDonell. "We are committed to providing quality service to clients at all Access Nova Scotia Centres."

The New Glasgow Registry of Motor Vehicles will move on Tuesday, Nov. 22, to the new centre at 94 Lawrence Blvd., next to the Holiday Inn Express in Stellarton. The motor vehicle registry, located at 608 MacLellans Brook Rd., will be closed Monday, Nov. 21, for the move.

The Stellarton Access Nova Scotia Centre will offer information and services to individuals and businesses, including driver licensing, motor vehicle registration, business licensing and registration, debtor assistance, consumer protection and residential tenancies.
