Minister's Crime Prevention Award Nominations Open

Is someone making your community safer? Reward them with a nomination for a Minister's Award for Leadership in Crime Prevention.

Nominees can include business leaders, media, police officers, youth, community groups and leaders.

"We want families to feel and be safe in our communities, and those who are helping to achieve this goal deserve our thanks and recognitions," said Justice Minister Ross Landry.

The Department of Justice is accepting nominations in six categories:

• Individual
• Youth
• Community Group or Organization
• Policing
• Media
• Business Community
