Assault at Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility

Two offenders were in an altercation at about 9:30 a.m. today, April 6, at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth.

Onsite health-care professionals responded immediately. Emergency Health Care Services was notified and the offender was transported and admitted to hospital.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating the incident.
