Bridgetown Sewage Release Repaired, Restrictions Lifted

A sewage leak into the Solomon Chute Creek, leading to the Annapolis River in Bridgetown, Annapolis Co., has been repaired.

Department of Environment staff have confirmed with town officials that untreated sewage is no longer being released.

The town's drinking water was not affected by the leak, and the water is safe to drink.

Restrictions on activities in the creek and the Annapolis River have been lifted.
