Another case is being added to Nova Scotia's Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program today, June 1.

The Department of Justice is offering a cash reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the disappearance of Allen Kenley Matheson.

Mr. Matheson, known as Kenley, was seen by his sister and others at Crowell Tower at Acadia University on Sept. 20, 1992. The next day, it is reported that he was seen by a friend walking on Main Street in Wolfville. This was the last time anyone has seen or heard from Mr. Matheson. There has been no contact with family members or friends and no activity on his bank account.

"The RCMP and the Department of Justice urge anyone with any information related to Kenley Matheson's disappearance to please come forward," said Justice Minister Ross Landry. "We all share a responsibility in terms of building safe communities, and no information about this case is too trivial."

Anyone with information can call the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program toll-free at 1-888-710-9090.

Those who come forward will be expected to provide their name and contact information. They may be called to testify in court. All calls to the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program are recorded.

More information on this and other cases can be found at www.gov.ns.ca/just .

The Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program was launched in October 2006 as another tool for law enforcement to use in solving crime. There are 63 cases in the program.
