NEW WORK
CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 105
Highway 105, from St. James Road to Groves Point, will have one-lane closures for milling and repaving until Friday, Nov. 30.
Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 101
Highway 101, from Exit 3 east for 3.5 kilometres, to Old Landfill Road in Mount Uniacke, will be reduced to one lane for widening, milling, guardrail and shoulder work. When work is complete, Old Landfill Road west to Exit 3 will be reduced to one lane.
The eastbound land will close tonight, Oct. 19, and the westbound lane will close Sunday night. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Nov. 30.
Traffic control people are on site. Other than this weekend, work takes place from sunrise to sunset.
LUNENBURG: Trunk 3 Detour
Trunk 3, Fletchers Hebb Bridge, will be paved from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today, Oct. 19. The bridge will then be open to one-lane traffic. Traffic lights will be in place by midnight tonight. A Detour route is in place.
PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104
Highway 104, from the end of the twinning in Sutherlands River to the Antigonish County Line, will be reduced to one lane to install centre-line rumble strips until Sunday, Oct. 21.
Traffic control people are on site. Motorists should expect delays. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
QUEENS COUNTY: Milton Bridge, Milton
Milton Bridge, on Bridge Street, will be closed for repairs until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
A detour route is in place. Work takes place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Clementsvale Road
Clementsvale Road, from Princedale Branch Road to Clementsport Road, is reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 1
Traffic on sections of Highway 1 near Brickton, from about one kilometre west of Mount Hanley Road for about five kilometres, is reduced to one lane for ditching and culvert replacement until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Trunk 1
Traffic on sections of Highway 1, from about one kilometre east of Annapolis Royal to about six kilometres west of Annapolis Royal, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Trunk 10
Traffic on sections of Highway 10, from the Lunenburg County Line north to Ridge Road, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104, Lower South River Bridge
Lower South River Bridge on Highway 104, east of Antigonish, is closed to replace the bridge and approaches. A detour bridge is in place until the work is completed, which is expected to be Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.
CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Eskasoni Highway
Eskasoni Highway, Route 216, about seven kilometres west of Trunk 4, for about seven kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125
Traffic on Highway 125, between Exit 6 and Grand Lake Road, will be slowed by twinning construction until Monday, Dec. 3.
Drivers should expect slow-moving traffic and be aware of trucks turning during construction.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
DIGBY COUNTY: Back Road
Traffic on sections of Back Road, from the intersection of Landsdowne Road to Highway 101, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
DIGBY COUNTY: Route 303
Traffic on sections of Route 303, from the Digby Town Line to the Saint John Ferry Terminal, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
DIGBY COUNTY: Route 340
Traffic on sections of Route 340, from the intersection of Townshipline Road, near Ohio, south for about seven kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 316
Traffic on sections of Route 316, west of the intersection of Whitehead Road, is reduced to one lane for repaving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Traffic control people are on site and a pilot vehicle will guide drivers safely through the construction area. Drivers should travel with extra care.
GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 316
Route 316, Country Harbour Mines, will have alternating one lane closures for ditching, installation of pipes, asphalt patching and repaving until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Traffic control people and pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.
GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge
The Melford Brook Bridge, on Route 344 at Middle Melford, is closed. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built.
The speed limit is reduced to 60 km/h and warning signs are in place.
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Mooseland Road
Mooseland Road near Jacket Lake will be reduced to one lane for about six kilometres for paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31. Work takes place from dawn to dusk.
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 7
Trunk 7, Tangier to Spry Harbour, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Work takes place from dawn to dusk. Some night work may be required.
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 7, Bedford Bypass, Westbound
Trunk 7, Bedford Bypass, westbound lane just before the Sackville exit, will be closed for bridge repairs until Saturday, Oct. 27. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: West Ship Harbour Road
West Ship Harbour Road will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Work takes place from dawn to dusk.
HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101, from Exit 5A west for six kilometres to the start of the twinned highway section, will be reduced to one lane for repairs until Sunday, Oct. 21.
Traffic control people are on site and delays are possible.
INVERNESS COUNTY: Crowdis Bridge
Crowdis Bridge will be closed until further notice.
A detour will be available via Crowdis Cross Road, West Big Interval Road, and Hatchery Road.
INVERNESS COUNTY: Riverside Road
Riverside Road will have two bridges, Morrison's Siding and MacDonald's Gulch, reduced to one lane for repairs until Saturday, Oct. 27.
Traffic control signals are in place.
INVERNESS COUNTY: Riverside Road
Riverside Road, from Trunk 4 north to Cenotaph Road, will be reduced to one lane for paving and road repairs until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19
Trunk 19, from about two kilometres north of Creignish Mountain Road, north for about seven kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
KINGS COUNTY: Trunk 1
Trunk 1, from the Annapolis-Kings county line, east to Greenwood Road, will be reduced to one lane for repairs until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
There will be periodic lane closures. Expect delays. Traffic control people are on site.
PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104
Highway 104, Exit 23 east bound off Westville Road and MacGregor Avenue's ramp and intersection, will have periodic lane closures for the installation of traffic signals, patching and paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Traffic control people are on site. Please take alternate route if possible. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
PICTOU COUNTY: Weirs Bridge Closed
Weirs Bridge on Shore Road in the Waterside-Caribou Island area of Pictou County is closed to traffic.
Two paved detour routes are available on R. Grant Road and Shore Road, and there is a gravel road detour on Otter Road.
Drivers should use extra caution and allow for extra time when travelling in this area.
SHELBURNE COUNTY: Highway 103
Traffic on sections of Highway 103, from Exit 26 to Exit 27, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
SHELBURNE COUNTY: Shore Road
Traffic on sections of Shore Road, from Fort Point Road west for about eight kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for culvert replacement and paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
SHELBURNE COUNTY: Upper Clyde Road
Traffic on sections of Upper Clyde Road, from Highway 3 north for about seven kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for gravelling and chip sealing until Wednesday, Oct 31.
SHELBURNE COUNTY: Welshtown Bridge
The Welshtown Bridge will have a five-tonne weight restriction until further notice.
Vehicles over five tonnes can use Highway 203 known as the Ohio Road, Trunk 3, and Upper Clyde Road.
VICTORIA COUNTY: MacLeod Angus Bridge
Traffic on the MacLeod Angus Bridge in South Harbour is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic signals are in place.
VICTORIA COUNTY: Red Bridge, Big Baddeck
The Red Bridge on the Old Margaree Road in Big Baddeck is closed to traffic. A detour is in place.
The bridge is scheduled to be replaced by the end of March 2013.
YARMOUTH COUNTY: Greenville Road - Greenville Bridge
The Greenville Bridge, on the Greenville Road over Highway 103, will be reduced to one lane to install new bridge joints and railings until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Traffic lights will be installed on the section of Greenville Road near the bridge.
YARMOUTH COUNTY: Mainshore Road
Traffic on sections of Mainshore Road, from the Yarmouth town line to the intersection of MacCormack Road, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
YARMOUTH COUNTY: Highway 3
Traffic on sections of Highway 3, from Exit 32A to the intersection of Route 308 at Tusket, will be reduced to one lane for culvert replacement and paving until Wednesday, Oct. 31.
