COLCHESTER COUNTY: Innovation Drive Bridge

Innovation Drive Bridge on Innovation Drive, about 600 metres north of the intersection of Highway 4 (Pictou Road), will be closed for repairs from Thursday, Sept. 12, until Saturday, Oct. 5.

Detour signs are in place.

YARMOUTH COUNTY: Indian Sluice Bridge Closure

Starting on Monday, Sept. 16, the Indian Sluice Bridge on Route 308 will be closed for three days to all traffic through Wednesday, Sept. 18.

The hours of closure are 9:00 a.m to noon, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The bridge will be open at all other times and on weekends.

The work involves chip sealing of the timber deck. Pedestrians will not be allowed to cross while work is being done.

Bridge users should plan their trips using the above schedule. Heavy equipment working on the bridge can be removed in case of emergency.
