Moose Licence Draw on Wednesday
Natural Resources (to July 2018)
The 1998 moose licence draw will take place Wednesday, June 24, at 12:30 p.m. in the Hall of the Clans at the Gaelic College in St. Anns, Cape Breton.
A total of 12,549 applications have been received by the Department of Natural Resources for the 200 licences that will be issued this year.
The 12-day moose season opens Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 12, in Victoria and Inverness counties only.
Wednesday's draw is open to the public.
