Reserve Space at Provincial Parks

Natural Resources (to July 2018)

Campers can now make reservations at most provincial parks in Nova Scotia.

Beginning today, people can telephone 20 of the 22 provincial parks and book space. Two parks, Chignecto and Wentworth, are not included because they are operated by community organizations.

A reservation pilot project was launched at 11 parks earlier this year. It proved so successful that the service was expanded.

"The response has been overwhelming," said Natural Resources Minister Kennie MacAskill. "It's obvious that people want the system, so in order to accommodate them, we have set it up at the other parks."

To make reservations, campers have to call the park where they want to stay. Only Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
