NATURAL RESOURCES--Department Seeks Input on Introduction of Wild Turkeys


Public input is being sought by the Department of Natural Resources on the introduction of wild turkeys into Nova Scotia.

The introduction of wild turkeys is being proposed by the Nova Scotia chapter of National Wild Turkey Federation. Before making a decision on this proposal, the Department of Natural Resources is soliciting input from the public.

Copies of the proposal have been placed on the government Web site, at: www.gov.ns.ca/natr/wildlife . Copies are also available from any office of the Department of Natural Resources.
