Yarmouth Access Centre to Open

Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations (Oct. 2000 - March 2014)

Yarmouth's new Access Nova Scotia centre will be officially opened on Monday, Oct. 7. Residents of Yarmouth and surrounding area are invited to join Finance Minister Neil LeBlanc in the event at 9:30 a.m. in the Yarmouth Provincial Building.

Access Nova Scotia offers a one-stop location for Registry of Motor Vehicle services such as driver licensing and vehicle registration, information about government programs and services and government publications.

"The official opening is a good opportunity to let people know that we are in the community and what we can do for them and how we can help," said Ron Whiting, manager of the centre. "It is a very bright and spacious office. People who were familiar with the old Registry of Motor Vehicles office will notice a tremendous difference. It's an improvement for staff and our customers."
