Alcohol Possession Prohibited at Ellenwood Provincial Park

NATURAL RESOURCES--Alcohol Possession Prohibited at Ellenwood Provincial Park

Beginning on Friday, July 18, the possession of alcohol will be prohibited at Ellenwood Provincial Park in Yarmouth County, Natural Resources Minister Tim Olive announced today, July 17.

"There have been some alcohol-related problems at Ellenwood Park this year which has resulted in the need to prohibit the possession of alcohol," said Mr. Olive. "We want to ensure that all of our park visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience."

Signs will be posted with information advising the public about the prohibition of alcohol. This is a short-term measure designed to resolve the recent problems.
