Guests will also learn about the Nova Scotia Historic Places Initiative and some of the Cape Breton properties on a new online register on the website at www.NShistoricplaces.ca .

The heritage reception is sponsored by the Nova Scotia Historic Places Initiative, which operates under the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage and is part of Canada's Historic Places Initiative, a nationwide program working to preserve, protect and promote our built heritage.
