Statements of Political Contributions Available

The annual statements of political contributions for 2005 are now available.

These statements are filed by the recognized political parties and their electoral district associations and disclose the names and addresses of all contributors who donated more than $50 during the 2005 calendar year. Also included with these statements are the annual reports of the recognized political parties summarizing official income tax receipts issued for 2005.

Disclosure is made by Christine McCulloch, chief electoral officer and designated person in accordance with the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act and the Elections Act.

The statements are available from Elections Nova Scotia at 3667 Strawberry Hill, Halifax, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
