Web Development Funding

Immigration (Jan. 2005 - Feb. 2021)

The province is accepting proposals to develop or enhance websites that help immigrants settle successfully in Nova Scotia.

Priority will be given to organizations that focus on providing direct services to immigrants or have specific immigration activities, and show a plan that they can sustain the web developments.

Organizations must be established not-for-profits that are registered under the Societies Act or other Nova Scotia public or non-governmental organizations, such as public education institutions and regional development authorities.

Eligible projects will focus on providing information that will give potential immigrants settlement information before they arrive in the province, or information that supports integration into communities after they arrive.

Applicants can apply for a maximum of $10,000. The funding, provided by the federal government, will be allocated by the province through the Office of Immigration. The application package is available online at www.novascotiaimmigration.com .

The submission deadline is Feb. 6.
