Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

Wheels will be rolling out of the warehouse this Saturday, Feb. 16, at the provincial government surplus auction.

Highlights of this week's sale include eight vehicles, four of which are four-wheel drive. There's also two all-terrain bikes, a single-axle trailer and two cars.

If your interests are more stationary, you will find an automotive wheel balancer, various 20" colour television sets, assorted file cabinets, a large selection of office chairs, a few hand-held power tools, some wood-working equipment, two floor safes, several microphone stands, and a variety of office equipment (fax machines, photocopiers, paper shredders).

A link to a partial list, with photos, is posted on the Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal website at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/govservices/govauction.asp .

The auction will be held at the Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal warehouse at 10 Acadia St., Dartmouth at 10 a.m. Items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The auction will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted.

Money earned in this auction is used to help pay down the provincial debt.
