Highland Village Hosts Gaelic Song Session

The Highland Village Museum will host a Gaelic song session on Tuesday, July 8.

Seumas Watson, the museum's manager of interpretation, and others will teach traditional Gaelic songs of Cape Breton at the event, known in Gaelic as Ag Éirigh air Òran.

Samples of fieldwork collected from traditional Gaelic singers over the years will be featured.

The session will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Tuning Room at the Highland Village. Admission is free.
