Highland Village Museum Holds Codfish Supper

Tasty treats and unforgettable sights will headline another exciting weekend at Highland Village Museum.

Highland Village Museum in Iona, Victora Co., will be holding its codfish supper on Saturday, July 19. Enjoy a traditional Cape Breton codfish meal with all the trimmings, including potatoes, curds, chow, bacon scraps, tea, coffee, biscuits and cookies.

The dinner is $15 for adults and $8 for children. Hot dogs are available upon request for $2. The supper will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, in the tuning room.

Arrive early and experience the outdoor display of Gaelic life in Nova Scotia. Explore period buildings, visit with costumed interpreters, witness re-enactments of the Gael's day-to-day activities and enjoy the breathtaking view the Bras d'Or Lakes.
