DIGBY COUNTY: Highway 101 and Exit 25

Highway 101, for about 1.4 kilometres, including ramps at Exit 25 and Joggins Bridge Interchange, has periodic lane closures for paving until Saturday, Nov. 15.

As part of this work, the ramps at Exit 25 on Highway 101 at Joggins Bridge will be closed to all traffic beginning 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 until Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Detour routes are marked. Please obey signs and personnel, and travel with caution.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101 and Bog Road Overpass

Highway 101, between Exit 8 and 8A, will have a detour to the new section of Highway 101 while construction is being done on the Bog Road overpass on Thursday, Nov. 13.

The overpass that carries Bog Road over Highway 101 is closed until Sunday, Nov. 30. It is being replaced as part of the Highway 101 twinning project.

A marked detour route is available on Rand Street, Bishopville Road, and Old Post Road.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Mosher Bridge

Mosher Bridge on Shore Road East will be closed for repairs until Friday, Nov. 21.

A detour route is available on Shore Road East to Gate Mountain Road to Route 362 and then back to Shore Road East.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Grand Lake Road

Grand Lake Road will have one lane closures until Friday, Dec. 5 to allow for the installation of traffic signals at the entrance to Central Supplies and the Petro Canada station.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Keltic Drive

Sections of Keltic Drive, between Seaview Drive and O'Neils Road, will be restricted to one lane until Saturday, Nov. 15.

Signs, traffic control people, and a pilot vehicle are on site.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. Motorists are advised to obey signs and personnel, and drive with caution in the area.

Main-a-Dieu Road will have a one-lane closure starting two kilometres east of Trunk 22 for 4.7 kilometres towards Main-a-Dieu until Friday, Nov. 14.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4 for 1.5 kilometres will have a one lane closure for upgrades until Aug. 31, 2009.

Thompson Road, between Crowley Road and Pugwash River Road, will be closed for culvert replacement until further notice.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 316

Route 316 will have alternating one lane closures for upgading, gravelling and repaving from the intersection with Trunk 16 and Half Island Cove, west for 4.7 kilometres until Friday, Nov. 14.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday with some Sunday work.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: South River Lake Road

South River Lake Road, from the Fire Hall at Salmon River Lake east for 5.5 kilometres will have alternating one-lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving until Friday, Nov. 14.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16

Trunk 16 between Boylston Bridge and the Department Of Natural Resources office, will have alternating one-lane closures for slope repairs, gravelling and repaving until Friday, Nov. 14

Traffic control people will be on site during the day and traffic signals will operate at night. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday possibly some Sundays.

Trunk 16 will have alternating one lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving from Phillips Harbour east for 2.8 kilometres to Half Island Cove until Friday, Nov. 14.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday with some Sunday work.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102

Highway 102 southbound before Exit 7 to Exit 7, for about 500 metres, will have occasional one lane closures until Friday, Nov. 14 for the installation of truck weighing equipment.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Ingramport Bridge

Ingramport Bridge on Trunk 3, will be closed for repairs until Sunday, Nov. 30. A temporary bridge is in place south of the work zone.

Drivers are advised to obey signs and reduce speed on the temporary bridge and in the work zone.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Northwest Arm Drive

About one kilometre of St. Margarets Bay Road from Albert Walker Driver to Northwest Arm Drive will have one-lane closures for clearing, subgrading, gravelling and paving until Friday, Nov. 14.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 333

Sections of Route 333 (Prospect Road) between Beechville and Prospect Bay will be reduced to one lane to construct a bicycle lane.

All lanes will remain open during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Work is scheduled for completion by Friday, Nov. 14.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 215 Detour

Traffic on Route 215 in the Urbania area near Stewiacke will be detoured because of damage to a culvert. A two-kilometre detour is provided on Ox Bow Road (known locally as Old Loop Shore Road) until further notice.

Doyle's Bridge on the East Margaree Road will be closed until further notice.

Detour on East Margaree Crossroad.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Grand Etang Bridge

The Grand Etang Bridge will occasionally be reduced to one lane for bridge replacement until Friday, Dec. 19.

A detour is available via a temporary bridge, marked with signs and lighting. Traffic control people will be on site.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Murray Truss Bridge

Murray Truss Bridge on the Murray Hill Road is closed because of storm damage. The bridge will be assessed and the road remains closed until repairs are completed.

KINGS COUNTY: Aylesford Road

About 6.4 kilometres of Aylesford Road will be reduced to one lane for paving until Saturday, Nov. 15.

Glebe Bridge on Route 201 will have a 2.7-metre height restriction and a 15-tonne weight restriction until further notice.

Kates Bridge on Tannery Road in Hantsport is closed for repairs until further notice.

A detour is available on Avon Street.

Hillaton Road will be closed for bridge repairs until the spring of 2009.

A detour route is available on Route 221 to Route 358 to Saxon Street.

North River Road, starting about 12 kilometres from English Mountain Road and going west for about 2.8 kilometres will be reduced to one lane until Saturday, Nov. 15.

Sections of Ridge Road, between White Rock Road and Greenfield Road, are restricted to one lane until Saturday, Nov. 15, for repaving.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 3, Gold River Bridge

A one-lane bridge is open on Trunk 3 between Mahone Bay and Chester while the new Gold River Bridge is being built. Work is expected to continue until August 2009. Traffic lights are in place.

Trunk 10 will have alternating one lane closures for ditching and culvert installation until Friday, Nov. 14.

PICTOU COUNTY: Thorburn Road

Thorburn Road will be closed for removal of the underpass structure near Thorburn Consolidated School until Wednesday, Dec 17.

Motorists are advised to use the detour route adjacent to the Thorburn Road via Hollow Road.

Access to and from Highway 104 on Young Road in Pine Tree will be closed until further notice for the Highway 104 twinning project.

The road remains open to local residents but has no exit.

Sections of the Cabot Trail (Trunk 30), south from the Path End Bridge, are restricted to one lane until Friday, Nov. 21 for paving.
