COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 236

Route 236 from the Hants County line to Princeport Road, about 7.9 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for cold milling, asphalt recycling and asphalt paving from Monday, May 25, until Monday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control people and signs will be on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 west of Exit 22, about 11.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for guardrail replacement, asphalt concrete milling, patching and paving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4 from Greenhill Drive to about 800 metres past Meadows Road will be reduced to one lane for paving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4 near Ben Eoin will be reduced to one lane for gravelling, grading and paving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A pilot vehicle will guide drivers through the construction zone.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Cobequid Pass

The tolling system at Cobequid Pass on Highway 104 is being renovated. Motorists are asked to follow posted construction signs. Renovations are expected to be completed in mid-July.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Bass River

Wharf Road and Judge Fulton Road will be closed, except to local traffic, for chip seal, pulverization and gravelling until Friday, July 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 6

Trunk 6, Section 1, through downtown Tatamagouche, and Section 2 from Cumberland County line to Bayhead, will be reduced to one lane for cold milling and asphalt paving until Thursday, July 31.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle will be on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wilson Mountain Road, near Greenfield, will be closed, except to local traffic, for chip sealing until Friday, May 30.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Highway 104 (West Bound Lane)

Highway 104, west-bound lane, from CNR overpass to the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border, about 2.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for asphalt cold planing and paving until Monday, June 15.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 242

Route 242 from the intersection with Route 302 at Maccan West to Lower Maccan Road, about 8.8 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Friday, July 31.

Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Southampton Road

Southampton Road from the Amherst town line west to Route 302, about nine kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for gravelling and asphalt concrete paving until Friday, July 31.

Traffic control people will be on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Causeway Lane Closure

Traffic on the Canso Causeway will be reduced to one lane for shoulder repairs until Tuesday, June 30.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic control people and signs are on site.

Drivers using the causeway should allow for extra time during the construction period.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge will be used until a permanent bridge is completed.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h at the site and advance warning signs are in place.

Reduced weight restrictions are no longer in effect at this crossing.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102

Highway 102 southbound will have a one lane closure from Exit 4B to Exit 3, including ramps, about 4.6 kilometres, to replace the jersey barrier and widen, patch and repave the highway until Friday, July 31.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 107

Highway 107 from 318 Overpass to Akerley Boulevard, including ramps, about 11 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. There will be no work from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. westbound, and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. eastbound.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 336, Upper Musquodoboit

Route 336 from the intersection with Route 224 to the Colchester County line, about 9.7 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for repaving and drainage improvement until Monday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Bog Road

The Bog Road in Hantsport will be reduced to one lane with stop-and-go traffic to allow crews to complete the Bog Road Overpass until Wednesday, May 27.

Signs will be in place. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

HANTS COUNTY: Eastbound Ramp, Exit 8, Highway 101

Traffic on the eastbound on and off ramps of Highway 101, at Exit 8 near Hantsport, will be reduced to one lane to allow for bridge painting.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset each day. Traffic control people and signs are on site. The work is scheduled to be completed Wednesday, June 3.

Drivers using the connector road to the eastbound lanes of Highway 101 at Exit 8 should allow for extra time during this period.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 215

Route 215 from Hiltz Road to William Conley Road, between Pembroke and Walton, will have traffic interruptions for repaving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control people will be on site. Work takes place from dawn to dusk.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 236

Route 236 from Route 354 in Kennetcook to Bishop Road, about 6.4 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Monday, Aug. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Doyle's Bridge

Doyle's Bridge on the East Margaree Road will be closed until further notice. A detour is available on East Margaree Crossroad.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Grand Etang Bridge

The Grand Etang Bridge will occasionally be reduced to one lane until Saturday, May 30, to replace the bridge.

A detour is available on a temporary bridge marked with signs and lighting. Traffic control people will be on site.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Murrays Hill Bridge

Murrays Hill Bridge, which crosses the Mabou River near Rankinville Road, is closed until summer because of flooding damage.

Route 252 at Skye Glen will be reduced to one lane for clearing and draining until Tuesday, June 30.

Traffic control people will be on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Glebe Bridge

Glebe Bridge on Route 201 will have a 2.7-metre height restriction and a 15-tonne weight restriction until further notice.

KINGS COUNTY: Hantsport

Kates Bridge on Tannery Road in Hantsport is closed for repairs until further notice.

A detour is available on Avon Street.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 between Exit 10 and Exit 11 will have one-lane closures for repaving until Monday, Aug. 31.

Delays are expected with stop times of up to 30 minutes depending on traffic volumes. There is an alternate route on Trunk 1 at Exit 10 at Grand Pre and Exit 11 at Greenwich.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Hillaton Road

Hillaton Road will be closed for bridge repairs until further notice.

A detour route is available from Route 221 to Route 358 to Saxon Street.

Rainsforth Road will be closed for repairs on Rainsforth Bridge until further notice.

A detour is in place. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103, east from Exit 10 for about 9.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for cold-planing and paving until Saturday, May 30.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 3, Gold River Bridge

A one-lane bridge is open on Trunk 3 between Mahone Bay and Chester while the new Gold River Bridge is being built. Work is expected to continue until August. Traffic lights are in place.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 10

Trunk 10, for about 700 metres, will have alternating lane closures for sewer installation until Wednesday, July 15.

Flashing lights, barrels and traffic cones are on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A detour is available on Route 331 and King Street in Bridgewater.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104

Highway 104 between Exit 29 at Barney's River, Pictou Co., to the Antigonish County Line will be reduced to one lane for road improvements until Tuesday, June 30.

Delays are expected. There will be signs, flashing light units and traffic control people on site.

Work will take place from Monday to Thursday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Fridays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: Young Road

Highway 104 access on Young Road in Pine Tree will be closed until further notice for the Highway 104 twinning project.

The road remains open to local residents but has no exit.
