The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) recorded net income of $212.6 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, an increase of seven per cent over the $198.7 million recorded during the same time period last year.
Gross sales rose 5.5 per cent to $565.6 million compared with $536.4 million last year. The NSLC's gross sales increases for the fiscal year when compared to year by product category were:
- wine up 7.6 per cent
- spirits up 4.8 per cent
- beer up 4.7 per cent
- ready-to-drink up 8.8 per cent
