Tourism, Culture and Heritage (Dec. 2003 - Jan. 2011)

Highland Village is getting ready for one of its most popular feasts for the senses.

The museum, in Iona, Victoria Co., is holding its first cod fish supper of the season on Saturday, July 11, featuring salt cod, potatoes, and all the trimmings of a traditional Cape Breton codfish supper. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Tuning Room.

The dinner is $15 for adults and $8 for a child's plate. Hot dogs are available on request for $2.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to visit the historic buildings and Gaelic Nova Scotians who inhabit those buildings through the living history museum.
