Order of Nova Scotia Ceremony to be Broadcast Live

Nova Scotians who want to view the 2009 Order of Nova Scotia investiture ceremony will be able to watch it live on television and the Internet.
Legislative Television will broadcast the ceremony on EastLink channel 10 and EastLink Digital Cable channel 95, beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
This year's Order of Nova Scotia recipients are:
- Michael Gilbert Baker (posthumous), Lunenburg
- Melvin James Boutilier, Halifax
- Muriel Helena Duckworth (deceased), Bedford
- Philip Riteman, Bedford
- Viola Marie Robinson, Truro
The ceremony will also be available live on the provincial government website at http://gov.ns.ca/legislature/House_Business/legislative_tv.html .
