JUSTICE--Minister's Awards for Leadership in Crime Prevention

  • --------------------------------------------------------------- The Department of Justice is accepting nominations for the annual Minister's Award for Leadership in Crime Prevention.

This is the second year for the award, which is given in six categories, and recognizes the efforts of those who are making significant contributions to a safer Nova Scotia.

"We all want to see crime reduced in Nova Scotia and those organizations and individuals who demonstrate leadership deserve our thanks and recognition," said Justice Minister Ross Landry.

The Department of Justice will select one nominee in each of the following categories:

  • Individual
  • Youth
  • Community Group or Organization
  • Policing
  • Media
  • Business Community
