Second Session of Sixty-first General Assembly to Open March 25

The second session of the 61st general assembly will open at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 25 with the Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia reading the Speech from the Throne.
The first session of the general assembly will be prorogued earlier in the day at 11 a.m.
It is necessary to prorogue the existing session in order to open a new session of the general assembly.
