HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 101
Weather permitting, work crews on Monday, April 26, will begin placing the concrete deck on the overhead structure on Highway 101 between Exits 2 and 3. Inbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the morning and the outbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the afternoon.
Alternative route is available via Trunk 1.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102
Starting Saturday, April 24, traffic on the northbound lanes of Highway 102 near the Kelly Lake Vehicle Compliance Station will be reduced from three lanes to one lane to allow for the installation of Weigh-in-Motion equipment.
The centre lane will reopen after 7 p.m. The right lane will remained closed until after 4 p.m. on Monday, April 26.
Drivers in the area should travel with extra caution.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 236
Route 254 in Kennetcook to Route 236 Northfield Road will be reduced to one lane for about 7.5 kilometres for paving from Monday, April 26, until Thursday, Sept. 30.
Traffic control persons will be on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

HANTS COUNTY: Trunk 2/Mill Village Road
Trunk 2 from Gibb Road to 244 Interchange, about 2 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving from Monday, April 26, until Saturday, July 31.
Traffic control persons will be on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 106
A 7.2 kilometre section of Highway 106, from Highway 104 north to Exit 2 (including westbound Ramps on Highway 104 and ramps at Exit 1A and Exit 2 on Highway 106), will be reduced to one lane for cold planing, installation of rumble strips, patching and repaving until Saturday, July 31.
Traffic delays are expected and motorists should use caution when travelling through the construction zone.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.

CONTINUING WORK
ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101, west of Exit 22 for about nine kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for guardrail replacement, patching and paving until Saturday, July 31.
Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Sydney River Bridge
Repairs to the Sydney River Bridge on Keltic Drive are expected to continue until the end of June.
Bridge is closed but may reopen to one lane on Sunday, April 25.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes on Coxheath Road, Highway 125 and Kings Road.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 2 and Plains Road
Trunk 2 (Belmont Road to Putnam Road) will be reduced to one lane for cold Planing , gravelling and paving until Tuesday, June 15.
Plains Road (McElmond Road to Belmont Road) will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culvert replacements, patching and repaving from Monday, April 19, until Tuesday, June 15.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Northport Bridge
Northport Bridge on Route 366 is closed until further notice for replacement.
Detour from Shinimicas Road to the east of the bridge and Mudcreek Road to the west of the bridge.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Trunk 2
The weight restriction for trucks on Trunk 2, Springhill Junction, will be reduced to 20 tonnes for CNR mainline repairs until Wednesday, May 5.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Canso Causeway
Highway 104, at Canso Causeway, will have night work for placement of armor rock along a 1.2 kilometre section from the canal bridge, westerly to the scale house, Sunday to Friday.
The work will occur from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., until Friday, May 21. Traffic control people and signs will be on site.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge
The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built.
The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h and warning signs are in place.
Reduced weight restrictions are no longer in effect at this crossing.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Fairview Overpass
Traffic on Joseph Howe Drive under the Fairview Overpass will have periodic lane closures from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. until further notice.
Traffic control people will be onsite, but delays are expected. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Larry Uteck Interchange
Detour ramps are open for traffic on Highway 102 (Bicentennial Highway) at the Larry Uteck Interchange.
The detour provides two lanes in each direction around the construction site. Speed limit on the detour is 80 km/h.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Murrays Hill Bridge
Murrays Hill Bridge, which crosses the Mabou River near Rankinville Road, is closed until further notice.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Closure
The Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, is open to one lane until further notice. Traffic lights are in place.

KINGS COUNTY: Hantsport
Kates Bridge, on Tannery Road in Hantsport, is closed for repairs until further notice.
A detour is available on Avon Street.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104, Exit 24
Construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Foord Street and Exit 24 until Tuesday, Aug. 31. The first phase of work will consist of replacement of sanitary sewer and installation of catch basin.
North Foord Street, south of the Trans Canada Highway by the ramps, will be restricted to a single lane. Traffic control will be on site. Expect delays and use alternative route.

QUEENS COUNTY: Highway 103
Highway 103 from Broad River Bridge to Saint Catherine's Road, about 10.8 kilometres, will have alternating lane closures for ditching and culvert installation until Friday, May 21.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Corsen Bridge
Corsen Bridge, two kilometres before Ingonish, continues to be reduced to one lane.

Torquil MacLean Ferry on Route 312 at Englishtown will be out of service for regular maintenance.
The ferry is expected to be back in service on Monday, May 3.
