The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) today, June 25, released its year-end results for the fiscal year ending March 31.
For the 12 month period, the NSLC recorded net earnings of $219.4 million on sales of $579.4 million. This represents an increase in net income of $6.8 million (3.2 per cent) compared with last year.
Net earnings for the fourth quarter was $41.7 million, which is 2.5 per cent higher than net earnings of $40.7 million for the same time period last year. Sales for the quarter were $123.8 million, an increase of 3.5 per cent over the last year’s sales of $119.6 million.
