ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Route 201

Route 201, from Morse Road west to Paradise Lane will be reduced to one lane for ditching and pipe installation from Monday, Aug. 2 until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Route 201

Route 201, from Paradise Lane, west to Mount Hanley, will be reduced to one lane for asphalt removal, patching, crack and chip sealing from Wednesday, July 28 until Tuesday, Aug. 31. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ANAPOLIS COUNTY: Shore Road West

Shore Road West from Parker Mountain Road, east for about four kilometres to Young's Cove will be reduced to one lane for chip sealing from Wednesday, July 28 until Tuesday, Aug. 31. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Caribou Bridge

Caribou Bridge on Woodbine Road will be closed for replacement of bridge. Work takes place from Tuesday, Aug. 3 until Saturday, Aug. 21.

Detour signs are in place. The bridge is closed 24 hours a day.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101

The twinned section of Highway 101 between St. Croix and Garland Crossing, (Exit 4 and Exit 5) opened on Thursday, July, 29, at noon.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101, near Ellershouse, Exit 4 to Exit 5, will be down to one lane on both the east and westbound lanes for construction from Friday, July 30 until Tuesday, Aug, 31.

KINGS COUNTY: Route 221

Route 221 will be closed for road work from Tuesday Aug. 3 until Friday Aug. 6. Detour signs are in place.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101, west of Exit 22 for about nine kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for guardrail replacement, patching and paving until Wednesday, Sept. 1.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101

Victoria Bridge on Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane for repairs and paving until Wednesday, Sept. 1.

A traffic signal is in place. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104, Havre Boucher Overpasses

Linwood Railway and Pellerine Road overpasses on Highway 104 near Havre Boucher have alternating lane closures for concrete repairs, joint replacement, waterproofing, until Saturday, Aug. 7.

There will be timed lights at both overpasses to assist drivers through the construction zone but delays are expected. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Drivers can use Trunk 4 as an alternate route between Exit 37 (Monastery) and Exit 38 (Havre Boucher).

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337, Canal Bridge

During construction of a new Canal Bridge on Main Street in Antigonish traffic on Route 337 is being rerouted to a temporary detour bridge.

The temporary bridge will be in place until Friday, Dec. 31.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4

Sections of Trunk 4, from Meadows Road west to St. Mary's Church, are reduced to one lane for paving until Thursday, Sept. 30.

A pilot vehicle will guide motorists. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Trunk 22, from about two kilometres north of Catalone Gut Road, south for about six kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Crockett Bridge

Crockett Bridge on Highway 289, Eastville, will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Friday, Aug. 6th.

Traffic signs and traffic control personnel are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104

Until Tuesday, Aug. 31, sections of the east and westbound lanes of Highway 104 along the Cobequid Pass will be reduced to one lane, for patching between the toll plaza and Exit 12 at Masstown.

Traffic on both sides of the Cobequid Pass toll plaza may also be reduced to one lane for road repairs and micro-surfacing.

Drivers should watch for signs and drive with caution. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104

Traffic on sections of the westbound lanes of Highway 104 will be reduced to one lane from Exit 15 at Truro to Exit 13 at Debert to allow for repaving.

Work takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. until Tuesday, Aug. 3

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 326

Route 326 from Earltown to MacBains Corner will be reduced to one lane for ditching, installation of cross culverts, widening, cold planing and paving until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Highway 104

Traffic on sections of the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 104 between the Cobequid Pass toll plaza and Exit 8 (Westchester Station) will be reduced to one lane for road repairs and micro-surfacing until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Motorists should drive with caution in the construction zone and watch for signs and traffic control people.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Northport Bridge

Northport Bridge on Route 366 is closed until Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 for replacement.

Detour from Shinimicas Road to the east of the bridge and Mudcreek Road to the west of the bridge. Cyclists should travel with caution.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Trunk 4

A 6.5-kilometre section of Trunk 4 from Wentworth Collingwood Road to Barclay Loop will be reduced to one lane for cold planing, repaving and bridge repairs until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends if required.

DIGBY COUNTY: Lewiston Road Bridge

Lewiston Road Bridge in Ashmore will be reduced to one lane for a windmill project until Wednesday, Sept. 1. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DIBGY COUNTY: Sissiboo Road

Sissiboo Road in Bear River will be closed between Landsdowne Road and Bell Street to allow for slope repairs and road reconstruction.

A marked detour route is available on Clark Street. The project is scheduled for completion on Friday, Aug. 6.

Detour via Bell Road or Clark Road. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h and warning signs are in place.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 7

Traffic on sections of Trunk 7 is reduced to one lane east from the intersection of MacKinley Point Loop to allow for repaving until Thursday, Sept 30.

Traffic will be directed by traffic control people and a pilot vehicle. Motorists should drive with caution and patience through the construction area.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Burnside Drive

Lane closures will take place until Saturday, Aug. 7, on Burnside Drive, between Commodore Drive and the Highway 111 interchange, to allow for repaving.

Two lanes of traffic will remain open into Burnside during the morning rush hour and two lanes will be available leaving Burnside during the afternoon rush hour.

Traffic on the overpass is reduced to two lanes and is controlled by traffic signals.

Drivers should exercise caution and patience in the work area.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Larry Uteck Interchange

Traffic on Highway 102 at the Larry Uteck Interchange will be restricted to three lanes instead of four while new ramps are being built.

The closed lane will vary depending on the time. Two lanes will be open for inbound traffic in the morning and outbound traffic in the evening.

Drivers should use extra caution in the area.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 118

The Exit 14 off ramp of Highway 118 will be reduced to one lane until Thursday, Sept. 30, to allow for the extension of the ramp.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 3

Sections of Trunk 3 (St. Margarets Bay Road) are reduced to one lane between Cleveland Point Road and Boutiliers Point Road for repaving.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset until Sunday, Oct. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102

Traffic on Highway 102 is reduced to one lane in each direction at Exit 9 (Milford) to allow for the construction of a new interchange.

Delays are possible. Drivers should exercise caution and watch for signs and traffic control people in the construction zone.

Work takes place from dusk until dark until the end of the year.

Sections of Route 215, from Academy Street in Maitland to the Route 236 intersection west of the bridge, are reduced to one lane for paving until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Sections of Route 236, from the intersection of Route 354 in Kennetcook to the intersection of Northfield Road, are reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Sections of Trunk 2, from Shubenacadie River north to the intersection of Route 214 at Elmsdale, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Cheticamp River Bridge

Cheticamp River Bridge on the Cabot Trail will be reduced to one lane for bridge replacement until Sunday, Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Cranton Cross Bridge

Cranton Cross bridge in Margaree Centre will be closed to traffic for repairs until Friday, Aug. 20.

A marked detour is in place.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Murrays Hill Bridge

Murrays Hill Bridge, which crosses the Mabou River near Rankinville Road, is closed until further notice.

KINGS COUNTY: Aylesford Road

A five kilometre section of Aylesford Road, 12 kilometres north of Dalhousie Road, will be reduced to one lane for gravelling and paving until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control is on site. Expect minimal delays. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Closure

Traffic on the Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic lights are in place.

Kates Bridge, on Tannery Road in Hantsport, is closed for repairs until further notice.

A detour is available on Avon Street.

Highway 101 between Exit 15 and Exit 16 will be reduced to one lane for paving until Tuesday, Aug. 13.

There will be periodic lane closures and motorists should expect delays. Traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Traffic on Highway 101 is reduced to one lane west of Exit 14 at Coldbrook for bridge repairs until further notice.

North Foord Street, south of the ramps from Highway 104,, is restricted to one lane for roundabout construction at the Foord Street, Exit 24 intersection until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Traffic control will be on site. Expect delays and use an alternate route.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104

Highway 104, near Exit 27 in Sutherlands River will have a speed zone reduction to 70 km/h for construction work for the Highway 104 twinning project until July 31, 2011.

Traffic on Route 347 at Exit 26 from Highway 104 will be reduced to one lane until Tuesday, Aug. 31 during the ongoing twinning of Highway 104.

Traffic on sections of Route 347, from Meiklefield Road south for 5.6 kilometres, and from Moose River Road south to French River Road for 2.6 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Tuesday, Aug. 31.
