Parks May Close Due to Severe Weather

The Department of Natural Resources is considering closing provincial beaches, day-use and camping parks, and the Shubenacadie wildlife park to the public because of weather conditions anticipated from Hurricane Earl.
The department will make a decision as the storm gets closer to the province.
As of today, Sept. 1, those who cancel a reservation for this weekend at a provincial camping park will be fully refunded.
