Provincial and Family Court Judicial Appointment

Attorney General and Justice Minister Ross Landry has announced the appointment today, Oct. 19 of Gregory Edward Lenehan of Dartmouth, as judge of the family and provincial courts.

"I am pleased to appoint someone of Mr. Lenehan's significant legal and academic background to these courts and I am confident he will bring his usual dedication to the benefit of Nova Scotia's justice system," said Mr. Landry.

Mr. Lenehan has served as a Crown attorney with the Nova Scotia Public Prosecution Service for the past 21 years. He holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry, a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, a law degree, and a masters degree in applied social psychology.
